About Aparajito

Charukala Art-N-Edu Trust moved six years to seven years this year. The main cause of social degradation is. the lack of consciousness of the people. People have lost their basic humanity, resulting in the decline of civilization. Standing on the edge of that decline, man still reckons with the normal and the abnormal On 2nd October’2015, the Charukala Art-N-Edu Trust had an embryo named”APARAJITO”. Little by little today it completed 7 years. But two years of housearrest could not separate the “APARAJITO” from us. We believe that the “unbeaten” are trying to make themselves invincible not only by the printed letters of the book but also by the dance postures, the rhythm of the song, the expression of the drama; and playing with the soil. God gave everyone a home, gave us a way. We are walking on that path every day, but this path is not smooth at all, there are ups and down every moment. Meanwhile, “APARAJITO” have made themselves independent little by little. The word self-sufficient reminds me of the colour green; green is the colour of renewal, rejuvenation, revival etc. Green means greenery which is in the verge of extinction. At the time when there is a green crisis all around, the_ Charukala Art-N-Edu Trust has come forward with “APARAJITO” or a handful of green in the uninhabited wilderness of civilization. We don’t understand religion, caste, society, customs etc. There is peace, love, selflessness and freedom that we try to imbibe among innocent children. The love for green, to spread green everywhere, let the storm of green rise again. We want to witness the green revolution. In this educational . institution, the journey of green was ·captured in the drawing book and also captured in the core of their heart. We have seen in the “undefeated” that this is a strange cultural current, in fact, the flow of energy, whose existence is endangered if it is blocked. So let the flow be smooth.

Charukala’s initiative under the brand name of Aparijito is a unique initiative to use different forms of creative art for the management of special needs children and adults. Living life with special needs for over a decade and having been brought up with different creative art forms, Sipra Bera and Indrajit Bera’s initiative looked simplistic and extremely innovative that could touch the core of the challenges of special needs. It’s not just that creative art forms helped individuals with special needs to learn new skills, it also enabled them to express their hidden thoughts and deepest pains, thereby reducing the magnitude of their problem behaviours.

Aparajito is very close to my heart and this is something I believe in. It’s a pleasure to be a part of such an extraordinary initiative.
